The Glue Foundation Inc. was founded on the profound realization that nurturing positive experiences is paramount for the thriving development of our youth, especially in the face of adversity.
Our founders, Brendalou Melchiorre and Boomer Rose, share a deeply personal connection with the challenges posed by addiction. Brendalou witnessed her younger brother Boomer navigate the tumultuous waters of addiction for over a decade. The journey was difficult, but when Boomer became clean and sober, their reunion sparked a shared commitment to leverage their individual skillsets to empower the youth of the Tampa Bay area.
Statistics indicate a pressing need for intervention and education, particularly in Pinellas County, Florida, where the impact of drug abuse resonates within communities. By addressing the root causes and consequences of addiction, we aim to break the cycle and create a brighter future for our youth.
